Vladimir Lenhart – also a member of Serbian underground acts like Klopka Za Pionira and Pamba – mainly focuses on cassette tape sound manipulation.
Based on the ready-made principle, he uses diverse prerecorded material, mixing it live on top of original rhytmic loops, using walkmans as musical instruments.
“Tape Music” was released as CDr in limited edition on Association Komar Kovačica, and we are very glad Vladimir agreed to have it out here on Bleak!
His live performances are legendary, ranging from pure noise to very odd combinations of musicians. Radical and uncompromising, Lenhart Tapes is an amazing act.
